The Wilson Family Coca Cola Collection
Lot 39:
Description
Lot of three early Coca-Cola paper bottle labels printed with the classic script logo and reading ?Bottled Under Authority of The Coca-Cola Co., Atlanta, GA? with ?Minimum Volume 6? Oz.? These attractive labels feature the early blue script Coca-Cola trademark within a decorative diamond-form border and retain the small copyright line dated 1907 by The Coca-Cola Company. Labels of this style were used by authorized bottlers during the early decades of the 20th century and were typically applied to glass soda bottles prior to the widespread adoption of embossed and ACL bottle designs. Each label remains loose and unused, showing typical age toning but strong color and crisp printing, making them desirable examples of early Coca-Cola advertising ephemera and bottling history.
