Description
Group of vintage “Baseball’s Great – Hall of Fame” Exhibits postcards, including numerous early baseball legends. Black-and-white photo postcards feature printed facsimile signatures and biographical text at bottom. Players represented include Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, Grover Cleveland Alexander, Tris Speaker, Rogers Hornsby, Dizzy Dean, and others. Also included is a color view postcard of the National Baseball Hall of Fame building.Exhibits postcards were issued circa 1939–1946 and remain highly collectible for their clean design and strong Hall of Fame subject matter. Condition varies with typical corner wear and age toning. A desirable grouping of classic Hall of Fame-era postcard issues.
