Offered here is a scarce and highly desirable pair of vintage Dubow boxing gloves housed in their original manufacturer’s box.The gloves are constructed in deep maroon leather with cream cotton laces and display classic early 20th-century craftsmanship, including reinforced stitching and traditional padded form. The original cardboard box is boldly marked “DUBOW Boxing Gloves” with “Best by Test” and “J.A. Dubow Mfg. Co., Chicago, Illinois” printed along the lower panel, adding strong display and collector appeal.J.A. Dubow Manufacturing Company of Chicago is best known today among collectors for high-quality sporting goods and leather products, and boxing equipment from this maker remains increasingly difficult to find, particularly with original packaging intact.Condition reflects age, with expected wear to the leather including light surface dryness and creasing.
