Art Nouveau style sterling silver brooch featuring an ornate rectangular openwork design set throughout with marcasite stones. The center panel displays a flowing floral motif surrounded by radiating rows of marcasite creating a dramatic geometric frame typical of early 20th century influenced design. Reverse is marked Sterling with secure pin back closure. Measures approximately 2 inches in height and weighs approximately 17.91 grams. Attractive sterling marcasite brooch with strong Art Nouveau influence and detailed decorative craftsmanship.
