Lot 368:
Description
Five pieces of antique English flow blue porcelain including a teacup with matching saucer and three additional plates in a richly decorated floral and scrollwork border pattern. The set displays the classic deep cobalt flow blue transfer decoration on a creamy white ground with heavy age crazing typical of 19th century flow blue wares. One plate bears the maker’s mark for C.S. Osborne with “Trade Mark” and “Stone China” visible within the cartouche. The plates measure approximately 10.25 inches across while the teacup measures roughly 4 inches wide including the handle. Condition consistent with age including crazing, staining, and a visible hairline crack on one plate as shown. Attractive grouping for display, collecting, or use in decorative table settings.
