Original oil on canvas seascape by Jackson, Michigan artist Henry Schafer depicting rolling waves breaking against a rocky shoreline with sandy beach in the foreground and a bright blue sky along the horizon. The composition features expressive brushwork capturing the motion of surf and foam as water washes across the sand and stone breakwater, rendered in layered tones of turquoise, white, and warm earth colors. A strong coastal study typical of Schafer’s landscape work. Canvas measures approximately 30 x 24 inches and is mounted on a Grumbacher New York stretcher.
