Description
Antique wooden tote featuring a rectangular form with divided interior compartments and a shaped center divider with integral hand grip. The exterior retains an old green painted surface with visible wear and distressing, while the interior shows natural wood with aged patina from use. Constructed of hand cut wood boards with nailed joinery and a simple base, this form was commonly used in early kitchens for storing and carrying table flatware and utensils between pantry and dining areas. Measures approximately 21 x 11 x 9.5 inches. Estate condition showing surface wear, paint loss, scuffs, and age related patina consistent with use.
