Description
Antique hand carved wooden cutlery tote or flatware carrier featuring a rectangular form with central carrying handle and divided interior compartments designed for storing and transporting table flatware. The exterior sides display carved geometric circular border decoration typical of late 19th to early 20th century folk or country craftsmanship. Interior compartments retain aged brown felt lining intended to protect silverware during storage or service. Constructed with simple nailed joinery and hand carved detailing throughout. Estate condition with visible age and use including surface wear, finish loss, and wear to the interior felt lining. Measures approximately 11.75 x 7.25 x 2.25 inches.
