Group of seven antique 19th century scientific and educational books including A Million of Facts by Sir Richard Phillips (London, 1851) with engraved portrait frontispiece, An Epitome of Experimental Chemistry by William Henry, M.D., Fifth Edition (London, 1808), Popular View of Chemistry by John Murray, M.D. and George Murray (Edinburgh, 1834), Elements of Chemistry by J. L. Comstock, M.D., Third Edition (Hartford, 1832), Treatise on Hydrostatics and Pneumatics by Rev. Dionysius Lardner (Philadelphia, 1836), Letters on the Elementary Principles of Education by Elizabeth Hamilton, Second American Edition (Philadelphia, 1813), and Dialogues in Chemistry by Rev. J. Joyce (London, 1809). Several volumes contain early ownership inscriptions including George Robinson dated 1810 and additional signatures attributed to Frederick Farrand, indicating long family ownership.
