Mid-19th century religious and philosophical volume titled Man Natural and Spiritual by Banks Farrand, published in London by Charles Gilpin, Bishopsgate Street Without, dated MDCCCLI (1851). Bound in original brown cloth with gilt spine title. The front endpaper bears a period presentation inscription reading “Banks Farrand to Frederick Farrand with his brother’s love 23/7/1857,” lib4323ing the book to the Farrand family. The work discusses moral philosophy, Christianity, and social reform themes common to mid-19th century Protestant religious literature. Interior retains original title page, contents, and publisher advertisements, with light foxing and typical age toning. Measures approximately 7.75 x 5.25 x 0.75 inches.
