Description
Chinese blue and white porcelain covered ginger jar decorated with loose hand painted floral and chrysanthemum motifs beneath a scalloped cloud border, the lid similarly decorated. Underglaze cobalt decoration on warm toned glaze with hand trimmed unglazed foot. Likely late Qing dynasty export porcelain, circa 1870–1900. Measures approximately 7–8 inches tall including lid.
