Description
Set of six Chinese export porcelain invalid feeders or pap bowls with matching lids, decorated in soft famille-rose style floral enamels. Each vessel features a long feeding handle and vented lid with cross opening designed for spoon access while feeding patients. These specialized medical feeding bowls were produced for Western markets during the early 20th century and commonly used in hospitals and homes to feed broth or soft foods to invalids. Republic period Chinese porcelain, circa 1920–1940.
