Framed 19th century engraved portrait titled Her Majesty The Queen, engraved for the New York Albion and dated January 1, 1839, depicting a finely detailed portrait of Queen Victoria seated with crown, jewelry, and royal regalia in an early Victorian court setting. The engraving retains strong line work and period detail including the royal insignia and decorative engraving throughout the composition. The piece is housed in a gilt wood frame measuring approximately 15 by 18.75 inches overall. The reverse retains a partial period label for S. Underwood (late Parker & Co.), No. 186 Fulton Street, New York, identified as a plain and ornamental looking-glass and picture frame manufacturer, supporting an early to mid-19th century framing. The print shows scattered foxing and toning consistent with age along with expected wear to the frame, presenting as a decorative and historically appealing early engraved portrait published for the New York Albion.
