Description
Kokomo Opalescent Glass Company stained glass sample kit containing approximately 200 small glass pieces arranged in compartment trays within the original cardboard box labeled Kokomo Opalescent Glass Co., Inc., Kokomo, Indiana. The assortment includes a wide variety of colored, textured, opaque, and transparent glass samples used for stained glass design and fabrication reference. Individual glass samples measure approximately 3 x 2 inches as noted on the lot tag and display a broad range of colors and textures typical of Kokomo art glass production. The set also retains a typed instructional sheet titled Stained Glass Course Outline outlining techniques including scoring, running, pattern design, leading, soldering, and finishing methods used in stained glass work. Condition reflects workshop use with minor edge wear to the glass samples and staining and wear to the original cardboard storage box.
