Description
Group of three Lebolt & Company hand made sterling silver serving utensils including a large serving spoon, a smaller sauce or berry spoon, and a pierced serving fork, each bearing the stamped mark “Sterling Hand Made Lebolt.” Lebolt & Company of New York and Chicago was well known in the early 20th century for hand crafted Arts & Crafts influenced silver pieces. Two of the utensils retain their original Lebolt & Company cloth storage sleeves. The individual weights are shown on the scale photos and include the large serving spoon at 68 grams, the smaller serving spoon at 60 grams, and the serving fork at 66 grams for a combined total weight of 198 grams of sterling silver. The total silver weight converts to approximately 127.3 pennyweight (dwt). Pieces show light surface wear and patina consistent with age and use and present well as a collectible Arts & Crafts era American sterling silver serving set.
