Description
Offered here is a handsome vintage inlaid wood writing box, complete with a selection of vintage steel fountain pen nibs. The rectangular case features a decorative Greek key inlaid border running along the lid and interior trim, giving it a refined, classical appearance. The warm-toned wood shows attractive grain and a mellow patina developed over time. The interior opens to reveal: • Green felt-lined writing surface • Divided lower compartment • Brass hinge hardware • Assorted vintage steel pen nibs included – The included nibs appear to be dip pen / calligraphy style nibs, suitable for decorative writing or display. Measurements: Approximately 8.5" x 4" x 3.25" – Condition: Shows light age-related wear consistent with use. Interior felt remains clean and vibrant. Hinges are intact.
