Description
This coca cola sign has carved markings on inside showing March of 1957 for the Coca Cola concession stand side. It has an additional marking of 1990 with carved initials when the “R U Thirsty” side was added in the 90s. This double-sided sign was custom made for Depaul University (largest catholic university in the U.S) and hung in Alumni Hall. Measures 72" x 24" Specifically, this sign hung in Alumni Hall up until being demolished in the year 2000. Alumni hall opened in December of 1956. It was home to the DePaul Blue Demons men’s basketball team from 1956 until they moved to the Rosemont Horizon in 1980. The building was the site of the first round of the men’s NCAA Midwest Regional in 1960. Sign comes with chain on each side for easy hang. Amazing chance to own a piece of Coca Cola history.
