Description
Lot features an impressive original photo of Finneran in a tigers uniform, signed and personalized "To My Young Friend Ralph Wm. A Kuenzel Phoenix Ariz 1929." Kuenzel was a sports photographer who worked for the Tigers and shot most of these 8x10s in the scrapbook. Reverse side is an incredible early 8×10 of Schoolboy Rowe signing a ball for a young fan. All lots from 379-404 came from the Ralph "Happy" Finneran personal collection. Happy as he was known has a prominent local Ford salesmen who was invited personally by Frank Navin to train with the Tigers in the 20s.
