Description
This is an absolutely scarce and original sepia tone 14.25" x 9.75" thick cardstock 1916 Detroit Tigers team photograph. This was found in the Happy Finneran scrapbook we are selling in lots 379-404. We can almost guarantee this was a gift from Cobb or fellow Tigers player to Finneran. Was loose in the scrapbook as found. Appears to obviously trimmed. All lots from 379-404 came from the Ralph "Happy" Finneran personal collection. Happy as he was known has a prominent local Ford salesmen who was invited personally by Frank Navin to train with the Tigers in the 20s.
