Description
Incredible original Barbecue Dinner to Ty Cobb’s Detroit Tigers by Augusta Rotary Club invitation signed by Kenesaw Mountain Landis & inscription from Harry Heilmann, "To My Old Pal Finn, Harry E Heilmann March 14, 1922." In addition you get a western union telegram from Ty Cob on May 8th 1922 to Ralph Finneran, congratulating him and his wife from the Detroit Club. On reverse side original 8×10 of Finneran in tigers gear catching as he was the auxillary catcher. All lots from 379-404 came from the Ralph "Happy" Finneran personal collection. Happy as he was known has a prominent local Ford salesmen who was invited personally by Frank Navin to train with the Tigers in the 20s.
