Description
Talk about one of the asbolutely coolest items we have ever had the opportunity sell. This is a David Fischel carved 17.5 foot tall guitar that was made for the Second Chance Bar in Ann Arbor in 1976. I personally found Fischel out in Arizona and asked him on the phone about this piece and he started laughing. He said he could have killed the contractor, because on the day of install, he realized he was going to have to cut the guitar down by 6", hence the small difference on the neck where the two pieces meet. This was inspired and carved based on all of the acts who’d played at the Second Chance ballroom. 101" wide x 2" thick – this is made of 5 pieces.
