Antique Coca-Cola 5 gallon syrup barrel constructed of staved wood with original paper lid label reading ?Delicious and Refreshing Coca-Cola? and marked for The Coca-Cola Company, Wilmington, Delaware, featuring distribution cities including Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and St. Louis; lid retains detailed fountain service instructions and original graphics; barrel shows period stenciling to side and retains original form with plug opening; measures approximately 10?11" diameter; condition exhibits heavy age and use including surface wear, staining, cracking, label loss, and edge deterioration to lid consistent with early soda fountain use; an authentic and desirable early Coca-Cola advertising piece with strong display presence.
