Description
Antique Chinese blue and white porcelain bowl featuring a scalloped rim and richly detailed transfer decoration including stylized chrysanthemum blossoms, landscape elements, and figural scenes surrounding a central phoenix motif. The bowl measures approximately 8.5 inches in diameter and about 3.5 inches tall. Decoration is executed in deep cobalt underglaze blue on a white porcelain ground with traditional Eastern decorative motifs. Condition shows age and use including several rim chips and glaze wear visible along the scalloped edge, along with minor firing imperfections typical of early export porcelain. A visually appealing example of decorative Chinese blue and white porcelain suitable for display or inclusion in an Asian ceramics collection.
