Description
Early Webster’s Mammoth Packet Seeds country store wooden advertising display box featuring a vibrant original lithographed lid panel depicting assorted vegetables including watermelon, pumpkin, cauliflower, corn, onions, radishes, and peppers with bold banner text “Webster’s Mammoth Packet Seeds.” Marked along the lower edge “Packed by Mel L. Webster, Seedsman, Independence, Iowa, ” with additional advertising text reading “High Grade, Double Size, Double Quantity.” The interior retains its original slotted dividers designed for displaying seed packets across the counter. Measures approximately 25.5 inches long, 10.5 inches wide, and 5.5 inches tall. A colorful and visually striking late 19th to early 20th century country store advertising display showing honest wear, scattered losses, and age consistent with period use, but retaining strong graphics that make it an appealing agricultural and general store advertising piece.
