Description
Large and impressive sterling silver centerpiece bowl featuring richly cast grapevine, leaf, and grape cluster decoration surrounding the rim and handles. The oval bowl measures approximately 15 inches across the handles, 9 inches wide, and about 4 inches in height, with a fluted interior and four applied feet on the underside. The handles are beautifully sculpted as twisting vines with detailed foliage, giving the piece strong Victorian revival styling. The underside bears maker’s marks along with an engraved monogram “AA.” The bowl weighs approximately 398 grams of sterling silver and presents with age-appropriate patina and surface wear consistent with use. A substantial and decorative sterling table piece with both display and bullion appeal.
