Description
Large Gorham sterling silver serving tray in the Windsor pattern featuring a classic shaped rectangular form with stepped and molded border. The underside is marked with the Gorham lion, anchor, and āGā hallmark along with the pattern number 259 and the word Windsor. The tray measures approximately 18.5 x 12.25 inches with a height of about 0.7 inches and weighs approximately 1,574 grams, equivalent to about 50.61 troy ounces of sterling silver. The piece shows typical surface scratching, light wear, and areas of tarnish consistent with normal use but retains an attractive presence with substantial silver weight. A handsome and functional example of American sterling silver suitable for entertaining or addition to a silver collection.
