Group of ten pieces of Johnson Bros “Old Britain Castles” red transferware ironstone made in England. The lot includes assorted plates along with teacups and saucers, each decorated with detailed scenic views of British castles and landscapes surrounded by ornate floral and scroll borders. Marked on the underside “Johnson Bros England Old Britain Castles” with decoration under the glaze and noted as genuine hand engraving ironstone. The set totals ten pieces according to the lot tag and is described as being in excellent condition overall. Classic English transferware with rich red decoration that remains highly collectible and attractive for display or table use.
