Lot 101:
Description
Group of three United States Peace silver dollars dated 1922, 1923, and 1924, struck in 90% silver and designed by Anthony de Francisci to commemorate peace following World War I. The obverse features Liberty wearing a radiant crown while the reverse depicts the perched eagle holding an olive branch above the word PEACE. These coins show circulated surfaces with visible design detail remaining in Liberty’s hair, crown rays, and the eagle’s wings and feathers along with natural age toning and handling marks consistent with circulation. The three coins carry a combined weight of approximately 80.3 grams, consistent with standard Peace dollar silver content allowing for normal wear. A desirable early-20th-century silver dollar grouping appealing to collectors, bullion buyers, and type set enthusiasts alike.
