Lot 100:
Description
Pair of United States Peace silver dollars dated 1925 and 1926, struck in 90% silver and designed by Anthony de Francisci, featuring the iconic Liberty portrait with radiant crown on the obverse and perched eagle with olive branch on the reverse symbolizing post–World War I peace. Both coins display circulated surfaces with visible detail remaining in Liberty’s hair, crown rays, and the eagle’s feathers, along with natural toning from age and handling. The two coins have a combined weight of approximately 53.4 grams, consistent with standard Peace dollar weight allowing for normal circulation wear. A desirable early-20th-century silver dollar pair appealing to collectors, bullion buyers, and Morgan-to-Peace transition era enthusiasts.
