Description
Offered here is a vintage Murano art glass vase made in Italy retaining its original foil label. This elegant example features a soft blush body with subtle internal swirling and a gently flared rim. The vase is enhanced by applied amber-gold scroll handles on either side, beautifully formed and skillfully attached in classic Murano fashion. The form is balanced and sculptural with a rounded lower body tapering to a narrow neck and open mouth. The applied handles add a refined classical touch while contrasting warmly against the ground. The original label reads “Vetro eseguito secondo la tecnica dei maestri di Murano – Made in Italy, ” indicating production in Murano, Italy using traditional glassmaking techniques. Measures approximately 8.5 inches tall and 6 inches across. Displays beautifully with strong gloss and color and no obvious cracks or structural damage observed in the provided images; label shows age-related wear consistent with vintage examples.
